Naples NICE started in the spring of 2024 as more than just a movement—it’s a promise to preserve the nature, beauty, and charm that make our community special. With a heart full of 'NICE,' we’re dedicated to educating and mentoring our youth, ages 13 to 18, to become the next generation of stewards who care deeply for Naples.
At Naples NICE, we believe in building character and integrity, all while fostering a love for our unique environment. Our mission is to cultivate a community where kindness and compassion aren’t just ideals—they’re our way of life. Through mentorship and education, we ensure that our young people are equipped to become responsible and caring citizens, with a profound respect for our beautiful beaches, abundant agriculture, and vibrant tropical surroundings.
In a world that often feels divided, we choose to stand united in our commitment to Naples. We’re creating a resilient, connected community that navigates challenges with grace and unity. While everyone may choose their own path, here in our unique enclave, we proudly choose to be 'Naples NICE,' cherishing how we treat one another and our environment, today and always.
Meet the Team
Advisory Board Chair
Joe Logrippo
Joseph Logrippo is a passionate philanthropist with long history of community outreach and advocacy from the start of his college years working with homeless veterans in his hometown of Boston to being one of the founding member of the Naples NICE movement in Naples, FL. He brings a passion and vision for a growing and thriving Naples’ community, while maintaining the moral civility of a quaint little beach town.
Joe continuously works toward the development of our youth to instill a high self-esteem, self confidence and a depth of character rooted in principals. We must take care of our beautiful beaches, water ways and wildlife with care and consideration. We must take care of each other and build strong relationships based on service to others. We must be Naples NICE!
Jos is also active in military advocacy and service to veterans and their families. Joe is a decorated Marine Corps Veteran and maintains active membership with DAV, VFW, Semper Fi Society. With a background in financial services, he brings a unique perspective and approach to embrace the latest trends to effectively communicate to our youth and beneficiaries of this beautiful sanctuary.

Education Chair
Kristin Carolan
Kristin Carolan is a dedicated and compassionate Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience in the mental health and social services fields. Her career is driven by a passion for helping individuals and families thrive, with a special focus on youth empowerment, resilience, and community support. A New York native, Kristin has made her home in Naples, Florida, where she has been actively involved in both professional and community-based roles.
Currently, Kristin serves as the Director of Student Programs at an education foundation, where she works to enhance educational opportunities and support the emotional and developmental well-being of students. Her background in therapy, coupled with her deep commitment to educational equity, allows her to create meaningful programs that empower youth to reach their full potential.
Throughout her career, Kristin has remained committed to giving back to the community, empowering families, and promoting emotional health and resilience in youth. Her work is not just a career—it is a calling to support and uplift the lives of those around her.
Whether in her professional role, volunteer efforts, or through her writing, Kristin continues to be a strong advocate for children and families, especially during times of hardship and transition.

Marcel Roche
Marcel is a hands-on innovator with a passion for creativity, mentorship, and empowering youth. He is dedicated to inspiring kids aged 13-18, helping them develop unstoppable confidence, sky-high self-esteem, and rock-solid character through exciting projects. Whether guiding them to build intricate models, tackle real-world challenges, or explore cutting-edge AI technologies, Marcel encourages young minds to think critically, creatively, and with purpose.
He’s also deeply committed to protecting what makes our community special—our breathtaking beaches, sparkling waterways, and vibrant wildlife. Marcel instills in the next generation a respect for nature, teaching them the importance of caring for the environment and supporting one another.
With a diverse professional background spanning manufacturing, auto mechanics, AI implementation, and the boating industry, Marcel blends practical expertise with forward-thinking innovation. His strategic problem-solving and rapid execution skills create dynamic and engaging learning experiences, where creativity, precision, and collaboration come together. Through kindness, service, and teamwork, he fosters a community spirit, aiming to make every day an adventure worth sharing. None of this is achievable without proper education, mentorship, and training. Who will keep Naples NICE if our kids are being influenced primarily by TikTok and Instagram? We all recognize the dangers, yet large-scale action is lacking. We aim to be an example and inspire this movement to spread to other communities across the country!
