Advisory Board Chair

Joe Logrippo

Joseph Logrippo is a passionate philanthropist with long history of community outreach and advocacy from the start of his college years working with homeless veterans in his hometown of Boston to being one of the founding member of the Naples NICE movement in Naples, FL.  He brings a passion and vision for a growing and thriving Naples’ community, while maintaining the moral civility of a quaint little beach town.

Joe continuously works toward the development of our youth to instill a high self-esteem, self confidence and a depth of character rooted in principals.  We must take care of our beautiful beaches, water ways and wildlife with care and consideration.  We must take care of each other and build strong relationships based on service to others.  We must be Naples NICE!

Jos is also active in military advocacy and service to veterans and their families.  Joe is a decorated Marine Corps Veteran and maintains active membership with DAV, VFW, Semper Fi Society.  With a background in financial services, he brings a unique perspective and approach to embrace the latest trends to effectively communicate to our youth and beneficiaries of this beautiful sanctuary.

Development Chair

Dionne M Fleming

MS, RDN/LDN, CPT

Dionne has been a full-time resident of Naples, FL since 2014.  Dionne has a passion for philanthropic endeavours and has been actively involved with various local non-profit organizations including the Humane Society Naples and the Reach Assembly Church in Immokalee, in addition to several others throughout the country.

Dionne is currently a Dietitian (RDN/LDN) at a private practice in Bonita Bay.  She holds a B.S. degree in Marketing from Miami University of Ohio and a M.S. degree in Nutrition, Healthspan and Longevity from the University of Southern California.  Dionne is also a certified personal trainer (CPT) credentialed by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and holds several specialty sub-certifications.   In her previous career, Dionne was a corporate executive for major retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdale’s in both New York City and Los Angeles.  She also founded a successful grass-fed beef business in Santa Barbara where she lived prior to relocating to Naples.

Combined with her passion for helping others, Dionne’s diverse and long-established participation in meaningful non-profit organizations and with her business experience allows her to help make a significant impact amongst those around her.

Director

Cornell Bunting

Cornell Bunting is a passionate community leader, author, and advocate for youth empowerment.
As the Director at Naples NICE, Cornell is dedicated to fostering an environment where young
people are inspired to develop strong character, integrity, and a deep respect for the environment.
His journey, marked by resilience and a deep sense of purpose, has shaped his mission to create
meaningful programs that nurture youth and build a more connected, compassionate community.

With a background in storytelling, Cornell has authored several books, including Escaping a Life
Sentence and Cornlegus di Journeyman, which shares powerful messages of perseverance, hope,
and transformation. His personal experiences, including overcoming significant challenges and
becoming a heart health advocate following a near-death experience, have deepened his
commitment to helping others discover their potential and find their voice.

Cornell's leadership extends beyond Naples NICE through his work with Everyone Has A Story
(EHAS INC), an organization dedicated to empowering youth in Jamaica, South Africa, and
Florida. His efforts have led to impactful partnerships, including initiatives to provide back-to-
school support, health care, and disaster relief for vulnerable communities.

Driven by a vision to invest in the next generation, Cornell is working to ensure that Naples
NICE becomes a beacon of kindness, neighborly love, and environmental stewardship. His goal
is to lead by example, encouraging others to embrace a lifestyle that promotes personal growth
and a positive, sustainable future for all.

Education Chair

Kristin Carolan

Kristin Carolan is a dedicated and compassionate Marriage and Family Therapist with over 15 years of experience in the mental health and social services fields. Her career is driven by a passion for helping individuals and families thrive, with a special focus on youth empowerment, resilience, and community support. A New York native, Kristin has made her home in Naples, Florida, where she has been actively involved in both professional and community-based roles.

Currently, Kristin serves as the Director of Student Programs at an education foundation, where she works to enhance educational opportunities and support the emotional and developmental well-being of students. Her background in therapy, coupled with her deep commitment to educational equity, allows her to create meaningful programs that empower youth to reach their full potential.

Throughout her career, Kristin has remained committed to giving back to the community, empowering families, and promoting emotional health and resilience in youth. Her work is not just a career—it is a calling to support and uplift the lives of those around her.
Whether in her professional role, volunteer efforts, or through her writing, Kristin continues to be a strong advocate for children and families, especially during times of hardship and transition.
